Our personal care products have been developed and are being made by a family of Chemists in Perth, Australia, using only safe, naturally derived ingredients.

Our personal care products (mainly lotions and oil blends) are developed by Chemists (based in Perth, Australia), using only natural/naturally derived/organic ingredients and can be made available in different fragrances/scents. All our products are carefully formulated and tested with carrier oils, essential oil blends and additives sourced from Australia and various parts of the world. Our main products are:

The main natural and/or naturally-derived ingredients used in the EMBO products are the following:
SHEA BUTTER, MACADAMIA OIL, PEACH KERNEL OIL, SWEET ALMOND OIL, APRICOT KERNEL OIL, SUNFLOWER OIL, SAFFLOWER OIL, ARGAN OIL, GRAPESEED OIL, JOJOBA OIL, HAZELNUT OIL, AVOCADO OIL, WALNUT OIL, VEGETABLE GLYCERIN, TALLOW OIL and 4PURE ESSENTIAL OILS (more than 30 of them, formulated so far into more than 245 proprietary combinations, all certified and possessing therapeutic and cosmetic properties).
We shall NOT be using any of the following chemicals and many others, natural and/or synthetic, which are listed as hazardous or potentially hazardous on The Deep Skin Database website (see www.ewg.org): Amines, PEGs, Alcohols, Sulphates (like SLS/SLES), Polyethoxylates, Parabens, Phthalates, EDTA and/or other synthetic chelating agents, Synthetic Oils.

Committed to Quality
We carefully studied lots of available publications about raw materials and formulations of organic/natural/naturally derived personal care products, type "leave on" (like body lotions, body butters, caring tonics etc) and "rinse off" (like body was/shower gel, soaps etc). It took us almost three years till we came up with viable formulations, meaning base products and fragrances (blends of natural essential oils). The science of creating oil in water (type O/W) emulsions, which are the basis of all our products, has been something both myself and my wife have been familiar for almost 30 years now (as we both have postgraduate degrees in Polymer Chemistry). Quality of our products is the main purpose of all our endeavours, we carefully studied the raw materials and the suppliers we use (ingredients and packaging) but our strength is our desire to always compare and improve our products (meaning the formulations and raw materials we use). We formulate and test our products until we make sure we have done our best and then we shall make sure our prices are affordable. Organic/naturally derived personal care products will be made and sold at affordable prices to our Customers even though we cannot produce big size batches in our relatively small laboratory. We shall offer free samples to the interested customers and potential customers and we can also develop products upon request (in fact a few of the products have been developed because of friends' requests)!
